Scope & Feasibility Study The scope is the foundation of any successful information management project. It provides both a strategic and operational assesment of the system requirements and provides clarity of the boundaries of the system and the project itself. Its purpose, as a collation of relevant facts, also provides a forum for the collection of user, and hence system, requirements. The Scope is undertaken by our Senior Analysts who gather together both the relevant business and technical information from key individuals to assess and validate potential solutions. The research is outlined in a concise, formal document that presents the business drivers, commercial and technical issues, together with the feasibility of implementing a solutions along with suitable and appropriate recommendations. The Scope & Feasibility Study highlights technical options for consideration, together with their business and financial implications. Crucially it provides details on other factors that will influence or be influenced by the project, in order that informed decisions can be made. In providing this foundation of understanding, information and clarity about the project, the study enables informed decisions to be made by the client as well as documenting important details such as deliverables, timescales, risks and cost implication. Finally the scope defines the boundaries of the agreed solution to allow all involved parties to be clear on the deliverables of the project.
