The one common element of our solutions, be it business intelligence, data migration or data quality, is the data warehouse, the core and foundation of the overall solution, for which we use Insource Data Academy® in conjunction with Microsoft ® SQL Server 2005™.

Insource Data Academy is a transparent box data warehouse builder that harnesses the functionality of SQL by building data warehouses that are robust, fault tolerant, expandable and supportable. Since Insource Data Academy writes Microsoft SQL code, it provides output in the form of structured data sets and Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services CUBEs. It can therefore be used as the foundation for almost any Business Intelligence solution provided that the reporting tool can report from SQL Server tables or SSAS cubes.

Insource Data Academy is compatible with many reporting, analytics, performance management and visualisation products currently on the market today - even those that purport to not require a data warehouse.  Our solutions fall into 2 categories.

Solutions that are complete end to end projects for which we are able to provide all of the products and services required.

• Performance Point/Pro-Clarity/Reporting Services - Using Insource Data Academy to structure the development of OLAP and relational based reporting datasets that simplify the process of producing PerformancePoint and Pro-Clarity based visualisations.
• Microsoft Fast Radar - Using Insource Data Academy to structure the development relational based reporting datasets enables the centralisation of the business intelligence to be in the warehouse, simplifying the production  and maintenance of the reports
• Insource Data Academy Performance Exec - An additional module which works seamlessly with the Insource Data Academy framework

Developing Insource Data Academy based data warehouses for the information to be delivered via a 3rd party reporting products such as (but not limited to)

• Cognos - Using Insource Data Academy to develop a warehouse containing structured relational datasets and SSAS OLAP CUBEs to underpin a Cognos based reporting environment.
• Business Objects/Crystal Reports - Using Insource Data Academy to develop a warehouse containing structured relational and OLAP based datasets that alleviate the need for specialist support of complex Business Objects Universes.
• Qlikview - Using Insource Data Academy to develop a warehouse containing structured relational datasets that simplify and maximize the visualisation and analytics capability provided by Qlikview
